Travel Regulations

  • Every girl will need a passport that will be valid through September 2023.

  • Due to space restrictions, one carry-on size suitcase will be limited per girl, excluding a personal bag such as a knapsack. Click here to view a detailed packing list to help you out with the sometimes grueling task of figuring out what to bring.

  • Every girl must bring a water canteen (at least 32 oz).

  • There will be an opportunity to do laundry every 3 days.

  • We will be providing plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the trip, so it is unnecessary to bring an overabundance of food. We will also be making periodic stops at supermarkets, such as Wal-Mart.

technology Policy

  • No smart device may be brought on the trip regardless of the restrictions. This includes any device that can connect to the internet. Examples include but are not limited to; i-pods, i-pads and smart phones. Click below to view and sign the technology consent form.

Dress code

We are a Bais Yaakov camp, and will follow a dress code typical of such camps. As a traveling camp, we will always be ‘off-campus’ and in the view of others. Therefore, each girl must take extra care to uphold the spirit and dress of a Bais Yaakov girl in all situations.

The Camp Nesiot West code of dress is as follows:

  • Only shirts with collars may be worn.

  • Skirts should be generously covering the knees.

  • Only knee socks or tights.

  • No back pockets on skirts.

  • No nail polish.

  • Please take care that clothing is sufficiently loose.
